The Aging Parent Project
This Privacy Notice describes how and why The Aging Parent Project may access, collect, store, use, and/or share your personal information when you use our Services — including this homepage and every landing or campaign page linked from it.
01
In short: we collect personal information that you provide to us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register on the Services, express interest in our products and Services, participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise contact us. The personal information we collect may include:
Sensitive information. When necessary, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we process:
All personal information you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.
In short: some information — such as your IP address, browser, and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This doesn't reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information), but may include device and usage information — used primarily to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for internal analytics and reporting. This includes:
02
In short: to provide, improve, and administer our Services, to communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law — and, with your consent, for other purposes.
04
In short: yes — we offer products, features, or tools powered by AI, machine learning, or similar technologies (“AI Products”).
We provide AI Products through third-party AI Service Providers, including Anthropic. Your input, output, and personal information will be shared with and processed by these providers to enable your use of our AI Products, for the purposes described in “When and with whom do we share your personal information?” above. You must not use the AI Products in a way that violates any AI Service Provider's terms or policies.
Our AI Products are designed for AI automation. All personal information processed through them is handled per this Privacy Notice and our agreements with third parties.
To opt out, contact us using the details in “How can you contact us about this notice?” below.
06
In short: for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law.
No purpose in this notice requires keeping your personal information longer than three months past the termination of your account. When we have no ongoing legitimate need to process it, we delete or anonymize it — or, where that isn't possible (for example, information held in backup archives), we securely store and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
07
In short: we do not knowingly collect data from, or market to, children under 18.
By using the Services, you represent that you're at least 18, or that you're the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to that minor's use of the Services. If we learn we've collected personal information from anyone under 18, we'll deactivate the account and take reasonable steps to delete that data. If you become aware of any such data, contact us at info@theagingparent.co.
08
In short: you may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province, or state of residence.
Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on your consent to process your information, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us — this won't affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal, or processing based on other lawful grounds.
Opting out of marketing. Unsubscribe any time via the link in our emails, by replying “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to our texts, or by contacting us directly. We may still send necessary service-related messages. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes; text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.
Account information. Log in to your account settings to review or update your information. If you terminate your account, we'll deactivate or delete it from our active databases, though we may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, assist investigations, or meet legal requirements.

09
Most browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) signal for your browsing activity. No uniform technical standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to them. California law requires us to disclose this. If a recognized standard is adopted, we'll describe our response in a revised notice.
10

How do we handle your social logins?
In short: if you register or log in using a social media account, we may access certain information about you from that provider.
Where you choose to register this way, we receive certain profile information from your social media provider — often your name, email address, friends list, and profile picture, plus anything else you've made public there. We use this only for the purposes described in this notice. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, how your social media provider otherwise uses your information — review their own privacy notice to understand that.
